We are proud to release the 2024 Impact Report from the Francine A. LeFrak Foundation and Same Sky Foundation, capturing a year of powerful progress and meaningful change.

This report is more than a record of outcomes. It is a reflection of the belief that when we support people with care, proximity, and purpose, we unlock potential that ripples across families, communities, and generations.

In 2024, we prove that strategic, replicable models can drive large-scale impact:

  • We opened the Francine A. LeFrak Foundation Center for Well-Being at Barnard College, a new model for supporting the whole student built on the three pillars of well-being: physical, mental, and financial
  • 910  New Yorkers received the tools they needed to secure stable employment at Brooklyn Workforce Innovations
  • Zero women returned to prison after receiving reentry support through our microgrant program at New Jersey Reentry Corporation
  • Over 300 women trained at Grace Institute, gaining both skills and confidence to build careers
  • 65 Bridge2Rwanda Scholars studied at and graduated from top universities in the US and 24 scholars in Africa gained degrees, internships & entrepreneurial experience
  • Women in Rwanda earned income, built savings, and created community through the Ikizere Cooperative
  • Hundreds of girls continued their education at the FAWE School, many with dreams of entering STEM fields

What unites all of these efforts is a core belief: that talent exists everywhere, but access does not. Our goal is to change that by staying close to the people we serve, listening first, and supporting programs that are designed to grow.

This is what it looks like when we combine financial fluency, workforce development, well-being, and community trust.
