Per Scholas provides skills training and access to employer networks to individuals often excluded from tech careers. Over 14,000 graduates of the program have launched successful careers in tech to date, including sectors such as IT, cybersecurity, and software engineering. Over 80% of Per Scholas graduates find full-time employment within one year of graduating. Typical Per Scholas graduates experience a 320% increase in income after completing their training.
In 2020, the Francine A. LeFrak Foundation partnered with Per Scholas to establish a Women in Tech program. In line with the Foundation's vision and pillars, the program creates opportunities for women from underrepresented communities to earn significantly higher wages and experience accelerated career advancement. Since then, over 100 women who have experienced severe financial hardship have enrolled. Through upskilling workshops, mentorship events, and financial coaching, these women are now on a path to a new life.
